The 2011 ELAT will take place on the morning of 2nd November 2011 in Munich.
What is the ELAT?
The English Literature Admissions Test will assess how far students have developed their ability in the key skill of close reading and, with it, the ability to shape and articulate an informed response to unfamiliar literary material.
The ELAT is required to study the following courses at the University of Oxford:
Q300 English Language and Literature
QQ38 Classics and English (3 years)
QQH8 Classics and English (4 years)
English and the following languages: Celtic, Czech (with Slovak), French, German, Italian, Modern Greek, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish
