Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT)

• is a test that focuces on the teaching knowledge needed by teachers of primary, secondary or adult learners of English
• it can increase your confidence and enhance your job prospects

TKT is divided into three modules:

Module 1 - background to language teaching

• describing language and language skills

Module 2 - planning for language teaching

• planning lessons and use of resources for language teaching

Module 3 - classroom management

• managing the teaching and learning process

Practical - assessment of teaching competence
